PSKC members turned out on New Year’s Eve to participate in the annual 5K Resolution Run. Temperatures dipped to the single digits this year but everyone was well prepared. We were joined by visiting alumni Sensei Slothour, Sensei Egan and Sensei Decker.
Before finishing up the fall semester in 106 White Bldg, we recognized Nakoa’s efforts and progress with a promotion to Kukyu. 
The fall 2017 semester will be ending soon. The last two classes in our 106 White Building dojo will be this week (12/5 & 12/7). The time to strike is when the opportunity presents itself.
Take a break from holiday shopping. Burn off some turkey-day excess. Join us today (11/25/17) from 2-3 PM at Schlow Library in the Downsborough Community Room for a free beginners Karate class. It is open to community members 16 & older.

Sensei Gabel, 3rd Dan, recently earned her Isshin Ryu Instructor’s License.
Sensei Hite, Sensei Faust, Sensei Dute, Sensei Defibaugh, Sensei Decker & Sensei Auman.
Sandan is 3rd degree in our Black Belt rank system. At Sandan the student is deemed capable of teaching independently as a teacher.
Congratulations to Nicarra, Mardy, Shawn & Chris (not pictured) on your recent promotions to Kukyu, Liz on your promotion to Shichikyu, and Ian on your promotion to Gokyu.

PSKC received the “Most Supportive” team award and finished 2nd in overall points earned at Young’s Fall 2017 Tournament with:
8 – 1st Places
8 – 2nd Places
8 – 3rd Places
Sensei Decker won Grand Championship for women’s Black Belt kumite.
Young’s Spring 2018 Tournament is scheduled for April 7th.
